Your mom was a very special lady.  Her ability to make everyone feel "at home" and welcome was such a gift.  My condolences to you Sandy, your dad, and the rest of your family.  We ran into your mom at Luby's on occasion, and she still had that same cheerful attitude in the 80's that I remember from the time I knew her in the '50's or so.  Just seeing her obituary brought back a flood of fond memories.

Sincerely,  Teresa Todd Lay
